Explore our Resources tab for a wide range of services: this section provides links to food, housing, employment, insurance and transportation, as well as information about our local libraries. The rest of the website connects visitors to health, education, and recreation information. We hope that this guide proves a useful tool to all who call Vermont home.

About Us

Who we are

We are a team that loves to connect people and create wonderful communities by bridging different cultures!

We are Vermonters, new and old, with a commitment to building communities. We created this website with the goal of connecting new residents to the best Vermont has to offer. In particular, we connect Vermonters of low to moderate income to cost-efficient resources with which they can build their lives. Whether you are shopping for affordable, local food, pursuing an education, or escaping on a woodland hike, this website contains the tools to find what you need. Let’s work together! Drop us an email and let us know if the website has been helpful to you and ways you would like us to expand it. Please do send your stories and photos to share with New Vermonters. Let’ get started!

What we do

We are striving our best to make Vermont’s resources are accessible for all.

The New Vermonters website is constantly expanding, incorporating locals’ submissions to reach every corner of the state. Do you have a favorite picnic spot or information about a service not listed here? We invite you to tap into this website and share with us any additional resources and opportunities you think will benefit new Vermonters. Submissions to the website may be emailed to info@newvermonters.org.

Neighborhood Guide

If you know of any services not yet listed on this site, submissions may be emailed to info@newvermonters.org. Our hope is for this website to function as a dialogue, with Vermonters new and old sharing their favorite and most useful resources
