Gyms and Family Programs

Boys & Girls Club of Burlington
The Boys and Girls Club offers a number of programs to youth (5-19 years old) and a space to create a sense of belonging to community members. Youth can become members of the club for $5.00 a year and participate in programs in areas of interest including arts and technology, health and sports, career preparation, and life skills. The fee can be waived if needed, with Child Care Resource providing the funding.

Programs are offered in 3 locations including:

  • Integrated Arts Academy: Kindergarten – 3rd grade, Monday – Friday, 2:45pm-5:30pm
  • The Boys & Girls Club Main Unit: 4th – 8th grade, Monday – Friday, 3pm-6pm
  • The Boys & Girls Club Main Unit: 9th – 12th grade, Monday – Friday, 6pm-8pm
  • Academic Tutoring Center at Roosevelt Park: for teens, Monday – Friday, 4pm-6pm

  • NNEYC High School Open Gym – FREE, Tuesday & Wednesday, 6-9pm, Sept-June

YMCA
YMCA members participate in various activities such as exercise and sports programs, dance classes, teen and adult classes and programs, child-care, art and music classes, various aquatic programs and much more. Financial assistance for membership and programs is available.The YMCA also offers a handful of summer camp programs from late June-August. It is best to inquire and apply for these camps in the Spring or earlier. Call or stop by the Welcome Center for more information or to pick up an application.
