Dr. Dynasaur
Provides state-funded healthcare insurance for children, teens to age 18, and pregnant women. Broad income guidelines- applicants may qualify even if they already have some health insurance.

Health Assistance Program
This program provides personal assistance in obtaining health care with a doctor at a free or reduced rate, assistance with affordable medications, and information and access to community resources and state programs. It also provides assistance with managing health concerns: case management, coordination of care, communication with health providers, etc.

Child Care Resource Subsidy Program
Child Care Resource manages the State of Vermont’s Child Care Subsidy Program that helps families pay for child care expenses. In order to qualify for the subsidies, it is important to stop by the office and fill out two forms completely: the Application for Subsidized Child Care (blue form), and the Family Support Child Care Application (white form).

Individual Development Accounts
The IDA program is a matched savings program which offers low to moderate income Vermonters a 2:1 match on their savings. By saving just $10 each week participants can have $3,000 at the end of 2 years to put towards a home, post-secondary education, or starting/expanding a business. The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) also offers business and financial classes. Call for Economic Counseling and Financial Education Training.

Casey Family Services Tax Help
Casey Family Services has teamed up with the national Volunteers in Tax Assistance Initiative to provide free tax preparation assistance and financial counseling to families in need. Casey’s offers family advocacy programs as well.
